I know I mentioned before that we would appreciate it if Kevin would put up a "fixed" version of the old manual detection client.

But the advantages of the automatic detection client he has put up are so many, including being able to have easy/quick overlays on observed tables, without having to enter a player, etc..

Would it instead be possible to have a checkbox next to each table listed that could be checked, (or unchecked as the case may be,) to determine which tables' stats would display and which wouldn't?

For those who use both Gametime+ and pahud this would be tremendously helpful.

Gametime+ would automatically pick up tables, and for those that we wanted to use pahud we could check them off/on using the checkbox.

Might this be easier to possibly add than to a "fixed" manual detection version?

Regards,

A couple of things I have noticed.

1. In the drop box it shows the player but no longer includes the rating discription from the rules eg; TA or LA. This is handy as I can't remember what all the icons mean.

2. I have to open and close gametime about 3 times before it will pick up the tables. If I don't this and try to manually add the tables it freezes everything including the tables. I have only used it at Playgate poker so it may be a site thing.

When you show your own stats and have the option for only stats in current session checked, it still uses your entire db stats. Is there going to another fixed version released sometime soon? TIA

Hi Kevin, Could you add a feature in preferences to limit the data displayed to the last x number of hands? This would be really helpful as peoples play changes over time and using information on their recent hands would be more accurate.

You can´t just start the gametime.exe, the .dll is supposed to be in your gametime installation directory, as is this downloaded .exe. You get this error if you saved the downloaded gt.exe to your desktop...

I have a question too: I had these known problems with the error messages when selecting a DB, (I'm using Postgres 8.0) then I downloaded the new .exe and the unofficial patch, now I can select the DB without error messages, but 1) the player name dropdown disappeared and 2) GT+ does not find the tables, so I cannot choose one. Any idea?

Any chance you can tell me how to do this? registry or whatever?

I'm in that small percentage of people :)

Here is a method which worked for me. I set up a new Access database for WPEX, using Poker Tracker.

I played some hands, while running Poker Tracker and GameTime+ 1.4.6, which is actually an update to 1.4.7. The stats, including mine, displayed perfectly. Then I quit. I converted the Access database to PostgreSQL 8.2.3.

Then I ran the 1.4.7 installer, which gives you the option to uninstall the currently installed version. I uninstalled 1.4.6 and installed 1.4.7.

Then I ran 1.4.7 and told it to add a tracker. It asked me for the database, then which player I was. I pointed it to the Access database and gave it my player name.

Then I dropped the new 1.4.6 back into my GameTime+ folder. I cranked up WPEX, started playing, opened PokerTracker with the new PostgreSQL database, and started GameTime+. I told it to add a tracker, and it asked me for which database. I pointed it to the PostgreSQL database.

Voila! My player name carried over to the PostgreSQL database. If I unchecked "Show my stats", my stats were not shown. If I checked "Show my stats" and specified only for the current session, that worked too.

I know this sounds complicated, but it's really not. Version 1.4.7 does not recognize the new versions of PostgreSQL, so I don't know if this would work without starting with an Access database. You could also probably start with 1.4.7 and an Access database, then go to 1.4.6 and PostgreSQL.

Also, I don't know what will happen if you try to use GameTime+ for more than one poker room. I don't know if GameTime+ keeps a separate player name for each poker room, or if you would have to go through this procedure each time you changed poker rooms.

Hope this helps. Hopefully Kevin will get around to providing the capability for specifying player name for each database being used.

Thanks, Flor, this was in fact the prob.

So I got it going, but unfortunately now I'm having another problem at startup-

After closing these it opens, and I can get it to start prefetching hands, but once the HH windows lose focus they start "ding, ding, ding"'ing uncontrollably...if I just open one and make sure it keeps focus it seems to work fine.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Start regedit go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GameTimePlus and change key PlayerID. I use GT+ for two poker sites, so I have to change it every time :-)

To find out the correct player id look into your database. I'm under Linux and use pgadmin3. The table is called players (SELECT player_id FROM players WHERE screen_name = 'YOUR_NICK').

Hi

I'm using this new version of Gametime+ with PostgreSQL 8.2 database. I got following error message when trying to add (or Gametime+ automatically tried) Pokerroom statistics to table. Statistics are correctly imported and showing PokerTracker. I'm using latest version of PT.

Code:
Error
   Code = 80004005
   Code meaning = Unspecified error
Source = Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
   Description = ERROR: syntax error at or near "s";
Error while executing the query

Any idea how to fix this?

Other version (including 1.4.7 and unofficial patch) doesn't work with my PostgreSQL.
