This doesn't include all the new whiz-bang features I've been hoping to add, but I need to get an update out there, so here it is.

Still requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP! Older OS support is still on the to-do list, just not done yet...

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/game ... e?download

What it is:

A "heads-up display" for PokerTracker. It's like the GameTime stats window, only with the stats overlaid on your poker software. Great for saving screen space, and having the player stats right there in your poker software.

Instructions:

1. Download and run the setup program.
2. Run GameTime+.
3. Make sure PokerTracker is running and importing hand histories.
4. Play poker.
5. As you open tables in your favorite poker site, click the + button in GameTime+ to enable stat overlays for the table you're playing on. If it isn't listed, wait a minute or two, because PokerTracker hasn't imported yet.
6. The program works with all poker sites, but the initial layout is optimized for Party. No biggie, though. Just drag the stat boxes to wherever you want them. The program will remember their new locations.

New since 1.3:

- Major performance improvements. Will not bog down the computer when playing multiple tables.
- UltimateHistory is now integrated into GT+.
- Simple averages or weighted averages for table averages. Your choice.
- Show or hide the player name in the stat box.
- When showing your stats, you can show all history, or just current session.
- Ability to filter stats for the current game level only (more filters coming soon).
- When selecting a screen name, you can type into the dropdown, with auto-complete functionality.
- Minimize to tray.
- Fixed the disappearing stats problem.
- I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting about

Let me know what you guys think!

Enjoy!
-- Kevin

Wonderful, thank you. I especially like the option for current stats only. my play has changed a lot and I'm tired of seeing that Tz icon. :)

Great software Kevin!

I was using my own software before but now i switched to GT+. The only thing i had in my own software and i now miss is to be able to view the last known hands of the other players (10 last known hands for example).

I wonder if you could add this to the next release, is a very useful addition... for example:

JTo - (BUTTON)
QJs - (1)
66 - (2)
+AA - (5)
=98s - (4)
++AA - (SB)

In the above example + means a raise, = means a cold call and ++ means a reraise. The numbers between the () show the position.

Cheers

Thanks so much for the new version Kevin!

This one doesn't seem to lock up when PokerTracker is importing hands, even with PT's priority is on "normal" instead of "below normal." Thanks!

When I'm installing this software I get this error message:

1155: File C:\\windows\temporaryinternetfiles\content.ie5\dfzflpke\instmsia.exe not found

I'm not sure why I would be missing this file. I've been running poker tracker for some time but have never downloaded any gametime components.

Thanks.

Kevin, this version is so much "lighter" on resources than version 1.3. I have my stats displayed for the current session and it doesn't skip a beat. Thank you very much.

And for next version, could you consider giving us the options of displaying $ won/lost on the table instead of BB/100, please? I don't know, maybe it is just me, but it seems easier to read that way.

Thanks Again

Same error here, except the filename is "instmsiw.exe".

I just uploaded a new setup. Can you tell me if it fixes the problem? I don't have Windows 2000, so I can't actually test it myself...

Kevin sed: Let me know what you guys think!

Kevin,
1.4 is a Super Upgrade. Many of these improvements are major! It might have been justified to call this version 2.0.

1. - Simple averages or weighted averages for table averages. Your choice.

Nice improvement. Makes table averages more meaningful generally. The big exception of course is when I new player comes to a table. It would be great if some weighting were put on them until they got about 25. After that amount, their numbers will usually be close enough to not skew the averages very much.

2. - Show or hide the player name in the stat box.

This is very helpful as the stats often get in the way of viewing cards and bets etc. and generally make the table very crowded with information. The only problem I see is that players change so often you may find yourself looking at the stats of someone who left and was replaced. I am in the habit of auto importing at long intervals and forcing them at my own selected junctures because it takes so long to do an import with a 15,000 player database, it interferes with hand replays which I often do to get an instant review of an opponents tendancies.

3. - When showing your stats, you can show all history, or just current session.

I have found this great for seeing what I am doing on that particular table at that time, and it is also very interesting to see how my stats may be shaping up differently on different tables at the same time as they are affected by the cards I'm getting and the nature of the opponents. Great feature.

4. - When selecting a screen name, you can type into the dropdown, with auto-complete functionality.

I haven't used this yet, but I expect it will make scoping out a table that is gathering data infinitely easier. I had totaly given up on doing that as it was such a pain to scroll through thousands of players trying to find a sitting player name. Great feature.

Another really nice feature is seeing the x/y numbers to go along with the percentages in the drop down boxes. I find that helps to conceptualize the numbers a lot easier.

All in all, fantastic.

I have only one major suggestion regarding Gametime+. That is that the stats boxes are inevitably covering some of the cards and bets that are on the table. It makes it very difficult to see who is still in the hand and who has made a bet and/or raised. This has really become a significant impediment to my game as I have gotten to the point where I am multitabling to work off bonuses. It also gives the tables a very crowded and cluttered look in general which not only affects my performance somewhat, it increases fatigue due to the increased level of concentration required to filter out the stats from the table action.

This is not an issue when two tabling because I drag the stat boxes to the outside of the table window. However, there is no room to do this when three or four tabling. (With 3 tables, there is room to move the stat boxes out on 1 table.)

The ability to remove the name from the stat box has alleviated this problem to a considerable extent, but it introduces the problem of having a previous players stats showing when a player leaves and a new one takes his place which happens quite often.

If you could remove the translucent background of the stat box so just the stat numbers remain, table visibility will increase tremendously. Alternately, if you could make the translucent background much lighter so it is barely visible, this would provide the same or almost the same benefit.

Thanks for your efforts, Kevin. Great job.

I've seen this problem with other installers. I'm not sure that's the problem here, but you might try updating your windows system with one of the following:

For Win98, ME:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... stMsiA.exe

For Win NT, 2000, XP:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... stMsiW.exe

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=321444

Wonderful product!

In line with what TomBrooklyn said above, one feature that would be nice is an option for how big to make the stats that GT overlays on the tables (small, med, large). I find the stats now often cover up the cards.

Just a suggestion.
